ABOUT

Hello there, and welcome to Little Cottonwood,  I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Tawsha, and I’m the heart behind Little Cottonwood. I design each piece with a love for beauty, simplicity, and the kind of timeless charm that feels like stepping into a storybook. Every dress begins with a daydream , often inspired by vintage photographs, blooming garden paths, and the sweet swirl of my own children running barefoot through wildflowers.

I live in Utah, where the mountains kiss the sky and our flower garden stretches wide with color and quiet magic. I'm a mother to four wonderful children, and in many ways, they are woven into the very seams of this brand, from the way we test twirl-ability to the way we believe in comfort and play, just as much as prettiness.

Our collections are limited, slow, and intentional, a soft-spoken rebellion against the rush of fast fashion.

Each Little Cottonwood piece is handmade within a small, shared workshop in India. A space filled with sunlight, patience, and the soft hum of sewing machines. Two dedicated tailors work exclusively on our garments, bringing each design to life with the kind of care that only comes from familiar hands.

Alongside them is a dear friend, an incredible woman who oversees everything else, from sourcing our fabrics to carefully wrapping and sending each parcel on its way. Together, we’ve built a quiet rhythm of trust that carries through every stitch and seam.

It’s a small, women-led partnership shaped by consistency, respect, and heart. A reminder that even across oceans, slow work and honest connection can create something truly lasting.

With love,
Tawsha
